About Harriet Kass

My Story
I chose to give my stories the space to breathe on their own — a quiet corner where imagination can take the lead. I write for readers who love slipping into the shadows of a story, following characters who carry secrets, and discovering unexpected desires.
I firmly believe that we are meant to love people, not labels, and that everyone deserves the freedom to break from convention without judgment
My debut novel, Night Service, Callie's Story, is a story shaped by curiosity, empathy, and a love for the kind of tension that keeps you turning pages long after you meant to stop.
This website is where I share updates, behind‑the‑scenes notes, and new projects as they take shape. I’m grateful you’re here — and I hope my work gives you something to think about long after you close the book.
I make my home in Toronto, Ontario, where the life of the city fuels much of my writing. On the rare occasions when I’m not working on a new story, I retreat to my cottage and let the quiet of nature reset my mind. Those slow mornings by the water and long walks under the trees are where many of my ideas settle into place, reminding me why I write in the first place.
